to a widowed mother who was our neighbor in the village. This order raised questions in me as I left the military at a young age and this woman was not my parent. In asking Jesus I was given only one answer and this is "I AM A PARENT".
Then I started to follow what the Scriptures say about parenthood, and in that reflection I learned a number of things that the Holy Spirit wants me to share today so that I can learn.
Verse 1 Timothy 5: 4 says this
" But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to do what they owe to their own families and to repay their parents, for this is acceptable in the sight of God."
Inside this verse God wanted me to know
One.
The issue of parental care is for children and not for the church or community, but for children or grandchildren. The church can step into that role if children or grandchildren are absent or have refused to fulfill that role
Two
She also wanted me to know that caring for her parents is good in her eyes because it pleased her.
I believe this mother has somehow stood up for me. As a parent, though I didn't know it, in this way God was calming her so that I knew it was my responsibility to help the mother. I also came to understand the role I have in my caregivers and caregivers.
1 Timothy 5: 8
But whoever does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. The act of avoiding caring for your parents causes you to renounce your faith, even if you show your biblical faith you have denied the faith.
Let me just remind you that you are following James 1:27
" Here is the pure and undefiled religion before God the Father, to look after orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." Be aware that orphans and gentlemen here can also represent people with different needs in order to survive. According to 1 Timothy 5: 8, it's not right to be a frontman to give a gift to your church when your parents / people in your home are starving at home, to kneel at your caregiver when your parents are in desperate need.
Jesus was disgusted with this disrespectful attitude of disrespecting parents / guardians, and rebuked the Pharisees for the way they were teaching people. Mark 7: 9-13
" Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother; and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die. you would allow her after that to do something for her father or mother; making the word of God of none effect through your tradition; and you do many things like these. " Jesus said that He was undoubtedly quoting Scripture from Deuteronomy 5: 6.
Dear The Bible places great emphasis on honoring our parents or guardians, this should be the responsibility of all of us to believe in Christ Jesus. In
Proverbs 23:22 is written
" Listen to your father who gave you birth, and do not despise your mother when she is old." We are told to listen to our parents as long as they live, even if their viewpoint is contrary to your view, then you must teach them or understand why you think it is best to do what you do to them and not to ignore them or not to read them. If there will be difficulty in understanding you, share the Holy Spirit will surely give you the wisdom to speak and they will understand you and never neglect them because they are old.
I always say that ignoring Bible principles can have a negative impact on your life. Today the world is wondering why life expectancy is declining and yet we still find that even in those few days, success is very small even though we live in a world that is still in comparison to our predecessors. One possible answer may be the same as Ephesians 6: 2-3 we read
Honor thy father and thy mother; This is the first commandment with a promise: "You shall be blessed and dwell for many days on the earth." You will see that within this line There are two things that leave us with respect to parents.
The first is to increase the number of days of stay on the land. This shows me that according to this verse it is quite clear that the days between a man who honors his parents and one who does not honor them differ greatly. The one who does not honor his days is cut short so you know the devil does not hear but the day's shortening is the result of disrespecting the Scriptures and parents.
The second is to be successful. With two people respecting one parent and the other disrespecting the success of the two, they differ greatly. Respect for parents is more successful than disrespect.
Parents today lack respect in the eyes of their children. There are some who have gone so far as to divide their parents, saying that father is not best for them but mother is everything. Fathers have been hurt to see they lose the respect of their children but can't say they are comforting by saying a baby shaking you can't cut it, some kids even gifts dad doesn't get it, it happens not only to fathers but also mothers to the same. Bad!
There are also those who do not want to live with their parents just because they have been too high or too popular.
My dear (my brothers) parents are wonderful people because they do not know what is wrong even if they are a happy child and pay you to be caring. Parents, even if you despise them, these criminals are so much more likely to pray for you for success, so where did your hatred for parents come from? Let's still be called a victim today because of them you are being treated like that because they gave up and conquered in the hot sun so you could eat, sleep, be treated and then go to school, reflect on what your quarrel with your parents is.
I want to be the voice of your parents in your ears today when your parents say that they are not getting your money or building a flat for you but they just want their respect. I pray you change today to look at your parents, you will be blessed for your life. Remember Isaac needed to eat meat to bless Hesu not because he never ate meat but why did he need to eat meat to bless his son ?,
Genesis 27: 2-4
" And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death. So please take your matter, your quiver and your bow, and go out uniwindie prey;
and make me savory meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; and my soul may bless thee before I die. " You will also see old Jacob blessed Joseph after Yusugu caring father in Egypt (Gen. 49)
There are blessings for your parents / guardians that God has set before you to prosper in the land that the Lord your God gives you and also your days may be long and blessed. God knew their worth and has given them great respect by referring to them at the beginning of the commandments concerning the relationship between man and man (Deuteronomy 5:16). May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Creator of the universe, reveal this to you and gain all knowledge in this lesson. Amen.
